Eddie Lee Green, 64, of Moline, passed away Monday, May 17, 2021, at UnityPoint Health-Trinity, Rock Island. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday, May 27, 2021 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 3030 7th Ave., Rock Island. Inurnment will be Friday in Rock Island National Cemetery, Arsenal Island. Memorials may be made to the family.

Eddie was born on June 27, 1956 in Scott, Mississippi, a son of Fred and Annie Turner. He was a U.S. Army veteran. Eddie worked as a home healthcare provider and enjoyed watching television and spending time with his family and friends.

Those left to cherish Eddie's memory include his fiancée, Juanita Parker; son, Steven (Ashaki) Thomas Sr., and their thirteen children; Patricia and her four children, James and his eleven children, Victoria and her five children, Monica and her two children, Richard and his two children, Alexander and his four children, and Fred and his seven children; a host of great grandchildren; siblings, Freddie Mae Green and Willie Green; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.

Eddie was preceded in death by his parents; 2 great grandchildren; and brother, Richard Thompson.
