Edith L. Kemble-Graves, 65, of Milan, died Sunday, June 16, 2024 at UnityPoint Health – Trinity Rock Island.  Cremation rites have been accorded.  A memorial service will take place at 2 pm Saturday, June 22, 2024 at the KNOX CHAPEL of Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 2106 7th Avenue, Rock Island.  A memorial visitation will take place from 1-2 pm Saturday, June 22, 2024 at the Knox Chapel.  The family asks everyone to wear their favorite St. Louis Cardinal or Chicago Cubs attire.  Memorials may be made in care of the Aledo Auxiliary V.F.W. Post 1571.

Edith was born at St. Anthony's Hospital in Rock Island, Illinois on January 4, 1959, a daughter of Richard and A. Jean Wilson Kemble.  She married Douglas Graves in 1981.  He preceded her in death.

Edith worked for the former Illinois Bell Company and CADS in Davenport earlier in her career.  She later became a chef working at various places around the Quad Cities.  She last worked at Avonlea Cottage, Moline.

Edith was a member of the Rock Island Moose Lodge 190 and the Aledo Auxiliary V.F.W. Post 1571.  She was an avid bowler, golfer and St. Louis Cardinal fan.

Those left to cherish her memory include her sister, Mary (Bill) Leistiko; several nieces and nephews; and her two Scottish Terriers, Dakota and Essey.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, fiancé, Neal Mazzarolo and siblings, Tom Kemble, Barbara Ray and Donna Boyle
