Edna May Conger, 88, of Milan, died Friday, January 2, 2015 at UnityPoint Health-Trinity Rock Island. Services were private at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Rock Island. Burial was at Rock Island National Cemetery, Arsenal Island. Memorials may be made in care of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Edna was born in Harvey, Iowa on August 16, 1926, a daughter of Arch and Ethel Pickens Geery. She married Calvin Conger on April 13, 1945 in Troy, Kansas. He preceded her in death in 1984.

Edna worked as the office manager for Roto Rooter for 30 years, retiring in 1990.

Survivors include her children (and spouses), Linda (Richard) Stout, Milan, Kelly (Judy) Conger, LeClaire, Iowa, William (Sharon) Conger, Milan, Jeffrey (Amy) Conger, Milan, David (Vickie) Conger, Newton, Iowa and Jeanne (Jeffrey) Beuseling, Rock Island; 17 grandchildren; and 33 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, six brothers and sisters and a daughter-in-law, Mary Conger.
