Edna Marie Riddell, 93, originally of Marinette, WI and long time resident of Rock Island, passed on Christmas Eve morning at Hope Creek Care Center, East Moline. She grew up in Escanaba Michigan, attended high school there and Northern Michigan University, in Marquette until moving to Rock Island for work circa 1942. She was a time keeper at IH Farmall Works, Rock Island for 8 years where she met and eventually married Leslie V. Riddell, Jr. whom she survived since his death on March 29, 2010. Edna and Les were members of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Rock Island.

Survivors include her two sons, Terrance Joseph (Deb) Riddell, Quincy, IL., and John Anthony (Deb) Riddell, Eugene, OR.; two granddaughters, Anna Marie and Mary Katherine; and two grandsons, Ryan and Karl; great grandchildren include Anna's children, Tyler, DJ, Ethan, Bella, Brendan, and Eva; and Mary's children, Brianna, Ava and Cole.

Services will be held at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home & Crematory, 3030 7th Ave., Rock Island, on Thursday, December 31st at 10:30 am. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Entombment will be in the Calvary Mausoleum, Rock Island. Memorials may be made to the Quad Cities Animal Welfare Center, Milan. We welcome friends to attend.
