Edward A. Feldhahn, 87, of Rock Island, died Sunday, Dec. 20, 2015 at his home.

Funeral services will be Noon Wednesday at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island. Burial is at the National Cemetery, Arsenal Island, where military honors will be presented by Moline American Legion Post 246. Visitation will be 11 am until service time Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Church of Peace United Church of Christ, Rock Island.

Edward was born Feb. 3, 1928 In Rock Island, a son of Arthur and Charlotte Danielson Feldhahn. He married Florene B. Spence on Nov. 21, 1948 in Rock Island. She died Jan. 7, 2011.

Ed worked in production control at the Rock Island Arsenal. He retired in 1988, after 30 years of service.

He served in the U.S. Army with an artillery division during the Korean Conflict. Ed was a member of the Church of Peace United Church of Christ, Rock Island. He enjoyed playing pool and cheering on the Cubs.

Survivors include his daughter, Kathy Price, Apple Valley, Minn.; son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey and Diana Feldhahn, Rock Island; grandchildren, Hailey and Garrett Feldhahn and Rachael and Ryan Price; sisters, Arliss Stone, Rock Island, and Joyce (John) Peters, Moline, brother, Al Feldhahn, Sun Lakes, Ariz.; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, and brother Bill Feldhahn.
