Elizabeth A. "Butts" Rock, 56, of Silvis, Ill. passed away Friday October 19, 2018 at home. Services are 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, October 23, at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 3030 7th Avenue, Rock Island, with visitation 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be at National Cemetery, Arsenal Island. Memorials may be made to the family to be designated later. Elizabeth was born May 29, 1962 in Moline, Illinois, a daughter of Lymond and Donna Schmooke Dusenberry. She married Joseph A. Rock in December of 1979 in Hampton, Ill. Elizabeth was a truck driver for CPC Logistics/John Deere Fleet for 12 years. She will be fondly remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother of fourteen, whom she adored and loved with all her heart. She attended Edgewood Baptist Church, Rock Island. She enjoyed camping with family and friends, going to yard sales, playing video slots on her phone and bingo. Surviving are her husband, Joseph, of Silvis; children, Erica Rock, Rock Island, Ill., Kimberly Richardson, East Moline, Ill., Janet Wallace, Alabama, and Brian Finley, Moline, Ill.; 14 grandchildren; siblings, Susan Jacobs, Moline, Karen (David) Dick, Davenport, Iowa, Donald (Jean) Dusenberry, Branson, Mo., and Pamela Regan, of Washington; and numerous, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and other family. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, William Poston.
