Elizabeth S. "Betty" Olsen, 78, of Milan, passed away on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at UnityPoint Trinity, Rock Island.  Funeral services for Elizabeth will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 201 4 ^th Ave. E., Milan.  Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Preemption Cemetery, Preemption.  Memorials may be made in care of the Quad City Animal Welfare Center, Milan .

Elizabeth was born on March 21, 1939 in Chicago, a daughter of Carl O. and Mildred Peck Olsen.  She worked as a Certified Nurse's Assistant at the former Oak Glen Nursing Home.

Elizabeth was a dedicated volunteer at the Rock Island County Fair, she and her sisters all volunteered as department superintendents.  Elizabeth also greatly enjoyed gardening.

Left to cherish her memory are her siblings, Evelyn Olsen and Robert Olsen, both of Moline; 3 nieces; 2 nephews and many other loving family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Elaine and a brother, Alfred.
