Elizabeth Schmidt, 71, of Rock Island, passed away Thursday March 17, 2022 at OSF Saint Francis Hospital, Peoria.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00am Wednesday March 23, 2022 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan. A time of fellowship will follow the service at Edgewood Baptist Church, Rock Island. Memorials may be left to the family.

Elizabeth was born on September 27, 1950 in Moline, the daughter of Bill and Bertha (Williams) Reynolds. She married Keith A. Schmidt on April 11, 1970 in Rock Island.

She had been employed at St. Anthony's Nursing Center, Rock Island as a Certified Nursing Assistant and later operated her own cleaning service.

Mrs. Schmidt was a member of Edgewood Baptist Church, Rock Island and was active with the Rock Island Republican Party. She loved the outdoors, spending time with family and friends and golfing.

She is survived by her husband, Keith; 3 sisters and several nieces and nephews.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Bertha Reynolds.
