Ella M. Siegmund, 95, of Rock Island, died Friday, December 29, 2017 at St. Anthony's Nursing and Rehabilitation, Rock Island.  Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 3030 7th Ave., Rock Island, with visitation one hour prior to services.  Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery, Rock Island.  Memorials may be made in care of the family.

Ella was born in Rock Island on July 7, 1922, a daughter of Edward A. and Ruth Drew Betke.  She married Ivan Mills on Dec. 19, 1945.  He died in 1973.  She married William Siegmund in 1975.  He died in 1991.

Ella retired from Modern Woodman of America in 1985.

Ella was a member at Broadway Presbyterian Church, Rock Island.  She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and reading.

Survivors include her daughters, Linda (Ben Alvey) Johnson, Moline and Nancy Dost, Rock Island; sister, Barbara Matsen, Sun Lakes, Ariz.; sister-in-law, Janet Armstrong, Burlington, Iowa; and several nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, parents, sons-in-law, Gary Johnson and Leroy Dost and her dog, Bismark.
