Ella Mae Neely, 82, of Rock Island, passed away Friday August 12, 2022 at her home.

Funeral services will be 11am Saturday August 20, 2022 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island. The family will receive friends from 10:00am to service time.

Ella was born December 18, 1939 in Brownsville, Tennessee the daughter of Tommie and Elsie (Lucas) Thompson.

She was a member of Olivet Baptist Church, Rock Island.

Ella retired from Johannes Bus Service, Rock Island, she had also been employed with the Rock Island Arsenal as a custodian, Rock Island Armory and Skip A Long as a cook.

She loved playing bingo, cards, spades and cooking.

Survivors include her children, John Baltimore, Cheryl Harrington, Kenneth Baltimore, Lisa (Russell Cowan) Baltimore, Rodney Baltimore, Scotty Baltimore, Cleo Neely Jr., Veronica Barns; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Cleo; daughter, Tina Baltimore; parents and 12 siblings.
