Obituary
Elnora "Ellie" Epperly, 88, of Rock Island, passed away Monday February 29, 2016 at UPH-Trinity, Bettendorf.
Funeral services will be 1:00pm Friday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Rock Island. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00-7:00pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Rock Island Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be left to Quad City Animal Welfare Center, Milan or the Salvation Army.
Elnora was born on November 21, 1927 in Rock Island, the daughter of Lester and Donna (Trone) Marco. She married John W. Epperly on November 27, 1946. He preceded her in death on July 25, 1990.
Mrs. Epperly loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren working in her yard, gardening, watching the news and politics.
Survivors include her daughter, Gina L. Epperly, Erie; son, Kirk R. Epperly, Moline; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Deirdre "DeeDee" Epperly. Her brother, DeWayne Marco also passed on February 29, 2016.
