Elnorma "Norma" M. Olson, 92, of Andalusia, passed away on September 4, 2014 at Manor Care-Utica Ridge, Davenport. Memorial services will be planned at a later date. Memorials may be made to Hope Lodge, Iowa City or the Andalusia Volunteer Ambulance.

Elnorma Marie Norwood was born on November 24, 1921 in Perry, Iowa , a daughter of Gerald and Gertie (Blaisdell) Norwood. She married Robert Olson on November 12, 1955 in East Moline.

In her early years, Norma served her country in the USMC during WWII. She was a member of the Rock Island Home Extension and volunteered as a Girl Scout Leader. She also enjoyed knitting baby blankets for children with AIDS. Norma was a homemaker who loved spending time with her beloved family.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters; Terri and Nancy Olson, Bettendorf and sons; Kurt Olson, Andalusia and Carl Olson, Oklahoma.

She was preceded in death by her husband; a sister, Donna Baers and two brothers; Kenneth and Keith Norwood.
