Emma L. Foley, 102, of Rock Island, passed away Friday, September 25, 2026 at Friendship Manor, Rock Island.

Private graveside services will be at National Cemetery, Rock Island. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, 3030-7th Avenue, Rock Island is assisting her family with arrangements. Memorials can be made to Friendship Manor.

Emma was born July 8, 1924 in Bensenville, IL, the daughter of Ross and Mabel (Buman) Boylan. She married Raymond A. Foley on December 24, 1941 in Kahoka, MO. He preceded her in death on April 21, 2015. They were married for 74 years.

Emma loved spending time with her family and friends.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Judy (Dan) O'Hern, Florida, and Roxanne (Dr. Stewart) Garneau, Bettendorf; daughter-in-law, Beverly Foley, Orion; 10 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild on the way. She was preceded in death by her children, Carol Givens and Ronald Foley and siblings, Bill Boylan, Shirley Wells and Doris Ketchum.
