Erma "Maxine" Jordan, 83, of Taylor Ridge, died Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at her home. Funeral services will be 11 am Saturday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Milan. Visitation will be Friday from 4-7 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Edgington Cemetery. Memorials may be made in care of the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Association.

Erma was born October 28, 1931 in Oskaloosa, Iowa, a daughter of Leathy "Raymond" and Mabel E. Bemisdarffer Miller. She married Russell Jordan on May 8, 1953 in Chicago. He preceded her in death on Nov. 25, 2009.

Erma was a homemaker who enjoyed knitting, crocheting, canning, truck gardening and sewing. She also loved to cook.

Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Keith and Lisa Jordan, Taylor Ridge and Mike and Debbie Jordan, Illinois City; granddaughter, Amanda (Bill) Little, East Moline; great-granddaughter, Gracie Little, East Moline; and brother, Dale (Lucille) Miller, Muscatine, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sister, Jean VanBrogen and brothers, Robert, Gerald, LeRoy, Melvin and Harold Miller.
