Erma J. Morrow, 84, of Rock Island, passed away Wednesday June 28, 2017 at her home.

Services are 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 6th, at Second Baptist Church, Rock Island, IL, where visitation will be one hour prior to services. Burial will be at National Cemetery, Arsenal Island. Arrangements are entrusted to Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island.

Erma was born May 16, 1933 in Austin, TX, a daughter of Lushin, Sr. and Katherine Billingsley Moore.

She married George W. Morrow on August 31, 1957 in Austin, TX.

In addition to being a homemaker, Erma was a teacher's aide for many years.

Surviving are her husband, George, Sr., of Rock Island; children (and spouses), George Morrow, Jr., Rock Island, Denise (Tony) Hall and Jeannetta (Larry) Ford, all of Austin, TX; eight grandchildren; a host of great grandchildren; sisters, Lucille Vaughn and Mary Carroll, both of Austin; and a host of nieces, nephews, and additional family.

Erma was preceded in death by her parents, sons, Vincent and Darryl Morrow, brothers, Lushin, Jr. and Walter Lee Moore; and her sister, Katherine Williams.
