Erma M. Suess, 91, of Rock Island passed away on Saturday, May 28th, 2022 at her son's home in Burnsville, MN.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 am on Thursday, June 2nd, 2022 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, Rock Island. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Rock Island. Memorials may be made in care of St. Pius X Catholic Church, Rock Island.

Erma was born on June 23, 1930 in Washington, Iowa, the daughter of Earl and Elsie (Prebyl) Schnoebelen. She married John F. Suess Jr. on November 28, 1953 in Rock Island and he preceded her in death on May 8, 2013. She was employed at Modern Woodman and then worked with her husband at his business, S & W Television. Erma lived in Rock Island for almost 90 years and was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church.

Erma enjoyed gardening and growing flowers. She was an avid fan of crossword puzzles and skillfully followed along with the show Jeopardy. Erma was also a talented pianist. She loved her morning cup of coffee and keeping up with the news.

Survivors include her son, Michael Suess, Burnsville, MN.
