Errol R. Davis, 81, of Reynolds, passed away Sunday, October 25, 2020 at his home surrounded by his family.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, October 30, 2020 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Reynolds.  Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Thursday, October 29, 2020 at the funeral home.  All visitors will be required to wear a mask and practice social distancing.  Burial will be at Reynolds Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or to the Reynolds United Methodist Church.

Errol was born on May 17, 1939 in Rock Island, the son of Raymond and Pauline (O'Brien) Davis.  He married Rosalie Crocker on April 21, 1979 in Rock Island.  Errol worked as a pressman at the Rock Island Argus and Moline Dispatch newspapers.   He enjoyed camping, bowling, and swimming.  Errol loved spending time with his family and throwing gatherings at their house.

Errol is survived by his wife, Rosalie Davis; children, Amy (Dennis) Root, Jim (Carolyn) Davis, Melissa Morey, Jennifer (James) Dailing, and Julie (Dean) Gauley; grandchildren, Josh Davis, Justin Davis, Ashley (Derek) Reed, Jakob (Kristin) Kadel, Taylor Vanskike, Sanabelle (Tom) Jones, Hailey (Bret) Woodside, Cole (Victoria) Kelley, Noah Kelley, Courtney Davis, Nadalee Dailing, Grayce Dailing, Ellie Dailing, Marissa Gauley, and Chloe Dailing; and great grandchildren, Kynleigh Vanskike, Adalynn Vanskike, Rowan Kadel, Simmi Reed, Magnolia Woodside, and one on the way.  He was preceded in death by his parents; daughters, Sue Davis and Cara Kadel; and brother, Marion Davis.
