Everett Lavern Williams, 80, of Milan passed away on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at Heartland Health Care Center, Moline. A Memorial service will be held at a later time and place. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan is assisting the family. Everett "Vern" L. Williams was born October 9th 1943 in Aledo, a son of Delbert and Marie (Weeks) Williams. Vern served in the Navy on the USS Valley Forge. He was married to Janet K Williams for a time. Vern worked for Local Labor Union 309. Prior employment was with Jaydon, Inc. Vern enjoyed watching westerns, working with his hands, bicycling, playing his guitar and watching his grandchildren's activities and events. Vern is survived by his children, Kim Williams (Craig Robbins), Taylor Ridge Il., David (Jennifer) Williams, Westerville Oh., Don (Margie) Williams, Geneseo Il., Grandchildren Lauren, Emma, Jordan and Chase Williams.
