Felva "Polly" Berhenke, 80, gained her angel wings on May 6, 2023 surrounded by her family following a sudden illness.

Polly was born August 26, 1942 to Theodore and Ruth Taylor. She was united in marriage to Ernest Berhenke Sr., on March 19, 1960 and spent 56 years together until his passing in 2016.

She loved reading, puzzles, bird watching, and most of all-her family.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Wayne Berhenke of Dahinda, Jodi (Jeff) Toney, Pamela Deppe of Taylor Ridge, and Matthew (Shanna) Berhenke of Cedar Rapids; grandchildren, Brian (Candice Desertwind) Barlang of Oregon, Sarah (Steve) McKee of Atkins, Iowa; Raven Hall of Coal Valley, Sasha Compton, Nick Toney and their families; great-grandbabies, Gabby, Tracy, Camryn, Isabella, Slade and Jon; sister, Carol Lindsey; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.

She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Ernie Berhenke Sr., and her parents.

Per her request, no services will be held but a Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, May 13, 2023 at 9400 98th St West, Taylor Ridge, IL from 1-4pm.
