Feryl M. Cutkomp Sr., 80, of Rock Island, passed away Monday, July 24, 2017 at Aperion Care Moline, East Moline.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at National Cemetery, Rock Island.  Those wanting to attend service are asked to meet at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 3030 7th Ave., Rock Island, by 9:30 AM.  Memorials may be made to the family.

Feryl was born on July 4, 1937 in Louisa County, IA, the son of Stanley and Edna (Wheeler) Cutkomp.  He married Mary Delcourt on August 1, 1962 in Illinois.  Feryl worked as a meat and poultry inspector for the State of Illinois.  Feryl was a proud veteran of the US Marine Corps and served in the Korean War.  He was an avid collector and loved to dance and ride motorcycles.

Feryl is survived by his wife Mary Cutkomp; children, Harold (Barb) Cutkomp, Darrel (Sue) Cutkomp, Carol (Kent) Rathjen, Sheryl (Jeff) Tutsch, Fawn (Rick) Aldridge, and Feryl (Sheryl) Cutkomp Jr.; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; and brother, Stanley Cutkomp.  He was preceded in death by his parents and 6 siblings.
