Florence M. Storr, 95, of Taylor Ridge, passed away Monday, December 5, 2016 at Heartland Health Care Center, Moline.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 9, 2016 at St Patrick's Catholic Church, Andalusia.  Visitation will be held from 4 PM to 7 PM on Thursday, December 8, 2016 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 201 E. 4th Ave., Milan with a rosary recited at 3:30 PM.  Burial will be on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 12:30 PM at Calvary Cemetery, Pocahontas, IA.  Memorials may be made to the family.

Florence was born on December 27, 1920 in Laurens, IA, the daughter of Charlie and Lucy (Hronek) Hotovec.  She married Leonard Storr on May 29, 1941 in Iowa.  Florence graduated from Ware High School where her volleyball team won the district and county tournaments.  She also was part of a Sextette singing group.  Florence enjoyed bowling, playing cards, crocheting, and dancing.

Florence is survived by her children, Steven (Kris) Storr, Muscatine, IA, Robert "Raymond" Storr, Mucatine, IA, Jeanette (Thomas) Moseley, Taylor Ridge, IL, and Joanne (Chuck) Vogelgesang, Burlington, IA; grandchildren, Tim (Sara) Storr, Missy (Adam) Yerington, Diane Rudsell and significant other Ron, Lisa (Jesse) McGown, Daniel Storr, Rebecca (Mark) Hardee, Michael Storr, Lauren Vogelgesang, and Blair Vogelgesang; great-grandchildren, Ben, Anna, Ellie, Lainey, Grady, Wyatt, Adda, Conrad, Vivian, Sierra, and Savannah.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Storr; son, Daniel Storr; and brothers, Clarence  and Henry Hotovec.
