Frances P. Finch, 87, of Milan, passed away Sunday, April 15, 2018 at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, April 20, 2018 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 201 E. 4th Ave., Milan.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to service.  Burial will be at National Cemetery, Rock Island.  Memorials may be made to the St. Ambrose Catholic Church Building Fund, Milan.

Frances was born on October 22, 1930 in Rock Island, the daughter of Henry and Mary Jane (Dunning) Fluegel.  She married Carl J. "Swede" Finch on October 30, 1948 in Rock Island.  Frances worked as a clerk at Walgreens in Rock Island for 22 years.  She enjoyed playing bingo, crafts, and spending the winter down in Texas.

Frances is survived by her sons, Tracey (Mary Beth) Finch, Aurora, CO and Dennis (Janice) Finch, Mexico; grandchildren, Jennifer (William) Hinsberger, Laurie Schadler, Dennis Finch, and Heather (Chad) Gale; and eight great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Finch; parents; and siblings, Margaret DeShepper, Anna Marie Lafever, Ruth Shaw, Dorothy Diamond, and Henry Fluegel Jr.
