Frances M. Langston, 87, of Rock Island, passed away Sunday, June 8, 2014 at the Heartland Health Care Center, Moline. Services for Frances will be 11:30 am, Thursday at the South Park Presbyterian Church, Rock Island. Visitation will be from 4pm to 7 pm, Wednesday at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, 3030-7th Ave., Rock Island. Burial will be in the Pine Hill Cemetery, Davenport. Memorials may be made to the South Park Presbyterian Church, Rock Island or to the Calvary Lutheran Church Relay for Life, Moline.

Frances was born on September 19, 1926 in Rock Island, a daughter of Frank and Alice Mohl Miller. She married Robert Langston on May 3, 1958 in Rock Island. Frances was a homemaker. She was a member of South Park Presbyterian Church, Home Extension Service and Friends of the Rock Island Public Library. She participated in the Civil War Roundtable Discussion. Frances enjoyed reading and traveling.

Survivors include her children, Terrence (Connie) Langston, Rock Island and Scott Langston, South Carolina; grandchildren, Alex (Katie) Langston, New Mexico, Andrew Langston, Texas and Elizabeth Langston, Texas; a special nephew, Robert Ellingsworth and family, Davenport.
