Frank Dean Bost, 79, of Milan, passed away Monday March 31, 2014 at UPH Trinity, Rock Island.Funeral services will be 11:00am Thursday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Milan. Visitation will be from 9:00-service time at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Chapel Grove Cemetery, with Military Honors by American Legion 569/200 and VFW 1303. Memorials may be made to Ronald McDonald House.

Mr. Bost was born on January 3, 1935 in Chicago, the son of George and Mildred (Brown) Bost. He married Kathy Vetter on August 17, 1962 in Silvis.

Dean had been employed by Hyster Lift Truck, Chicago as a parts manager for over 29 years before his retirement in 1990. He later was employed by Martin Equipment, Milan.

Dean was a United States Air Force Veteran. He was a member of the Milan American Legion and a graduate of United Township High School.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Kathy; sons and daughters in law, Michael(Phyllis) Bost, Manhattan, IL, Daniel Bost, Thornton, IL, Steven(Michelle) Bost, Reynolds; grandsons, Michael Dean Bost, Manhattan, IL and Justin Dean Bost, Reynolds; sisters, Louise Lateer, Sally (Larry) McMullen; brothers, Norman (Joan) Bost, Harold (Shirley) Bost and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a adopted brother, Corgan Brown.
