Frank L. Morel, 73, of Hampton, formerly of Milan, passed away Wednesday December 6, 2017 at UPH Trinity, Rock Island.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00am Tuesday December 12, 2017 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, Rock Island. Visitation will be Monday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan from 4:00-7:00, with a Christian Wake Service recited at 3:30pm. Inurnment will be at a later date at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, East Moline. Memorials may be left in Frank's name to Alleman High School.

Frank was born on December 6, 1944 in Moline, the son of Frank P. and Madeline M. (Lefevre) Morel. He married Sandra Flores on October 30, 1971 in East Moline. She preceded him in death on November 12, 2014.

Mr. Morel had been employed by Kitchen Cook Potato Chips for 18 years as a route supervisor and most recently at Skiles Driving School. He loved golfing, camping, watching the Chicago Bears and spending time with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his children, Brian (Angela) Morel, Bettendorf, Nikki (Randy) Short, Latrobe, Pa., Scott (LeRon) Morel, Muscatine, Frank (Megan) Morel, Rock Island, and Susie (Brett) Clark, Hampton; 13 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; brother, Chuck (Cathy) Morel, DeWitt, IA.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Gene Morel.
