Frank G. Pealstrom, 74, Moline, IL passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2026 at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House in Bettendorf, IA. There will be a visitation from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM on Thursday, September 24, 2026 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island. A graveside service will follow at Rock Island Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital or the Drake University General Fund.

Frank was born September 10, 1952, attended Rock Island public schools and was a graduate of Drake University, Des Moines, IA. Throughout his career he worked for the Amoco Corp and John Deere Finance in West Des Moines, IA and retired from Export Packaging in Milan, IL, in 2021.

He loved music and served as the worship team leader for Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Davenport, IA and was a freelance singer/songwriter, recording one Christian album entitled Soul Agenda. Frank was also an avid bicyclist and rode on RAGBRAI (Register’s Annual Great Bike Ride Across Iowa) several times. He also rode on TOMRV (Tour of the Mississippi River Valley) and numerous other smaller bike rides in Iowa, Wisconsin, and Minnesota.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Friedolph M. and Evelyn (Strupp) Pealstrom; son, Joseph; sister, Jane Woodward; and the best friend a boy could ever have, his beloved dog, Mittens.

He is survived by his niece, Heather (Stuart) Nelson, nephews, Dennis Woodward Jr. and Philip Woodward; brother-in-law, Dennis Woodward Sr., and sister, Ann Stuart.
