Frankie Virginia Ford, 63, of East Moline, died Monday, March 23, 2020 at St. Anthony's Nursing and Rehab, Rock Island.  Services will be private at this time.  A public memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.  Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline.  Memorials may be made in care of the family.  Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island, is assisting the family.

Frankie was born in Rock Island, Illinois on January 29, 1957, a daughter of Frank and Virginia Ohm Novak.  She married Deforest Ford on June 20, 1987 in Davenport, Iowa.  He preceded her in death in December of 1999.

Frankie worked as a key-punch operator and inventory management specialist at TACOM on the Rock Island Arsenal for 31 years.  She retired in 2008.

Frankie was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and former member of the Andalusia Lions Club Auxiliary.  She loved to crochet and cook.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Jon Ford, Rock Island; niece, Marsha (Charlie) Eatough, Highland Park, Ill.; and good friend, Margie (Brian) Steiner, Taylor Ridge.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother, Darrell Novak, sister, Patricia Tedford and aunt, Phikul Novak.
