Franklin "Toddy" H. Lomax, 70, of Rock Island, passed away on Friday, October 6, 2023, at UnityPoint Health-Trinity, Rock Island. Services will be 11 am, Tuesday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island. The service will be live-streamed and can be viewed at the following link, https://www.wheelanpressly.com/live-stream. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Toddy was born on September 23, 1953, in San Diego, CA., a son of Walter and Louise (Peters) Lomax. He had worked for Rick's Tree Service. Toddy enjoyed fishing and singing. He was a talented artist who loved working in oils and watercolors.

Survivors include his children, Darnell Lomax, East Moline, and Chareima Lomax, Rock Island; his siblings, Maude Lomax-Anderson, California, Patricia Simmons, Rock Island, Arthur Lomax, Moline, Darnell Lomax, Rock Island, and Darlene Lomax, Moline.

Toddy was preceded in death by his parents.
