Frederick "Fritz" C. Muller, 84, of Milan, died Sunday, November 26, 2017 at Hope Creek Care Center, East Moline.  Cremation rites were accorded.  A graveside service will be 11 a.m. Friday at Chippiannock Cemetery, Rock Island.  Memorials may be made in care of the Korean War Veterans Association, Quad Cities Chapter 168.  Arrangements were handled by Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island.

Fritz was born in Rock Island on April 8, 1933, a son of Russell W. and Elizabeth M. Downing Muller.  He married Bernice Rosenthal in Rock Island on July 11, 1952.  She preceded him in death in the late 90's.  He was a U.S. Army veteran who served during the Korean War.

Fritz worked 20 years at J.I. Case as a forklift operator.  After retiring, he worked at Beacon Bay, Rock Island, and QC Campers, East Moline.

Fritz was a member of the Milan American Legion Post 569.

Survivors include his son, Greg (Linda) Muller, Moline; daughter, Debra (Denny) Roberts, Florida; grandchildren, Josh McGonigle, Nick McGonigle and Sherry Morrison; 10 great-grandchildren; and his close friend, Netti Smith, Silvis.

He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, brother, sister and 2 grandsons.
