Garland Paul-Dex Carrell, 36, of Rock Island, passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2022.
Garland was born on October 9, 1985 in Davenport, IA, the son of Garland C. Carrell and Pauletta. He was veteran serving in the Army National Guard.
Garland is survived by his father, Garland Carrell; mother and step father, Pauletta and Dwayne Parrott; children, Janiece, Jordan, Garland, and Allen; sisters, Serena Carrell and Sheri; brothers, Seneca Strickling, Varian Moore, and Calvin Hammock; aunts, Dot, Paula, Sheri, and Desiree; cousins, Sean, Josh, Ari; and uncles, Jim and Dale.
