Gary Lee Harmon, 60, of Milan, died Thursday, October 5, 2017 at UnityPoint Health – Trinity, Rock Island.  A Time of Remembrance will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday, October 14, 2017 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan.  Visitation will be from 12:30 – 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.  Memorials may be made in care of the Milan Christian Food Pantry or to the QC Animal Welfare Center, Milan.

Gary was born in Moline on September 11, 1957, a son of Robert and Barbara Tobin Harmon.

Gary loved being outdoors, especially fishing.  He had the most wonderful family, great friends and his biggest joys were the births of his sons and granddaughter.

Survivors include his sons, Jacob Harmon, Moline and Ryan (Amanda) Harmon, Coal Valley; granddaughter, Chloe Harmon; mother, Barbara Harmon, Milan; and siblings, Robbi Schlitz, Fortson, Ga., Craig (Sheryl) Harmon, Elkton, Md., Keith Harmon, California and Neil Harmon, Milan.

He was preceded in death by his father.
