Gary Gene Muller, 75, of East Moline, Illinois, passed away Friday, July 3, 2026, at his home.

Gary was born on June 12, 1951, in Moline, Illinois, a son of Russell Wilson and Norma Jean (Vought) Muller. He graduated from Rock Island High School in 1968 before earning his bachelor's degree and master's degree from St. Ambrose College. Gary dedicated 30 years of service to JI Case, where he worked as a union steward until his retirement. He was a proud member of UAW Local 1304.

In his younger years, Gary enjoyed spending time on the golf course and relaxing on his boat. He will be remembered for his strong work ethic, his dedication to his fellow workers, and the love he shared with his family.

Those left to cherish his memory include his brother and sister-in-law, Dale and Linda Muller; his sister-in-law, Mary Jo Davis; his nieces and nephews, Jerry (Susan) DeLoose, Christine Muller, Erica (Andrew) Collins, Brad (Rachel) Muller, and Meredith (Rich) Puder; as well as several great-nieces and great-nephews.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Ray Davis.
