Obituary
Gary L. VanWinkle, 58, of Milan, passed away Monday, May 1, 2023, at his residence. No services to be held.
Gary was born on October 8, 1964 in Moline, the son of Colonel and Lydia (Billingsley) VanWinkle-Carpio.
Gary is survived by his mother, Lydia Carpio; children, Luke Smith and Abbree VanWinkle; grandchildren, Kyle Kent, Devin Kent, Patience Stevens, Bryce Stevens, and Collen Dillard; great grandson, Wesley Dillard; siblings, Eileen Sanders, Douglas VanWinkle, and Delila VanWinkle. He was preceded in death by his father; step father, Robert Carpio; nephew, Russell Williams III; and sister, Yvonne VanWinkle.
