Gerald L. "Jerry" Barnette, 60, of Davenport, passed away Monday, December 23, 2024.

Cremation rites have been accorded and a Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at a later date. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan is assisting with the arrangements.

Jerry was born May 14, 1964, in Cedar Rapids, a son of William A. and Betty (Cozart) Barnette.

Those left to cherish his memory include his brothers, Leonard Barnette, and Jim (Jeri) Barnette; half-sister, Mary Barnette; nephews, Bryant Barnette, KC Barnette, Ryan (Kelsey) Burmeister, Brandon Burmeister; and niece, Rachel (Brandon) Kellenberger.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Barbara Burmeister.
