Glen G. Davis, Jr., 68, of Rock Island, passed away on Saturday, May 16, 2015 at UnityPoint Health - Trinity, Rock Island. Private visitation and graveside services will be held. Private burial with military honors will take place at Rock Island National Cemetery. Memorials may be made in care of the Quad City Animal Welfare Center, Milan.

Glen G. Davis, Jr. was born on February 18, 1947 in Rock Island, the son of Glen G. Davis, Sr. and the late Betty Kerler Davis. Following high school, he served in the U.S. Army. Glen married Marsha Leedom Franklin on August 1, 1983 in Moline. Glen was a union electrician for IBEW Local #145 for several years, retiring in 2004. He previously worked for Pan-Am in Cape Canaveral, FL.

Glen was very talented at home repair and took great pleasure in handling family owned rental properties.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Marsha; father, Glen Davis, Sr.; son, Glen Davis, III; stepson, Todd Franklin; uncle and aunt, Sonnie and Millee Reed and an aunt, Mary Davis, along with several nephews and a niece.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty; sister, Dixie Wamburg and brothers, Paul, Mark and Daniel Davis.
