Glenda L. Babers, 63, of Moline, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday June 27, 2023 at her home.

A visitation will be held at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 5,  2023 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

Glenda was born on June 5, 1960 in Rock Island, the daughter of RC and Vera Babers.

She graduated from Rock Island School. She enjoyed sports, especially softball.

Glenda retired from Unity Point as a cook in the dietary department.

Glenda was a member of First Baptist Church, Geneseo. She was a loving daughter, sister and aunt.

She loved spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed cooking and her sugar cookies were a family favorite.

Those left to cherish her memory include her mother, Vera Babers, Rock Island; siblings, Robert Babers, David Babers, Eric Babers, Marilyn Harrison, Linda Morrow; fiancé John Branch Jr.; and an extended family of aunts, uncle, nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father, RC Babers.
