Grant R. Rupp, 74, of Andalusia, passed away Monday, August 7, 2017 at his residence.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 201 E. 4th Ave., Milan.  Visitation will be 4 - 7 pm on Friday, August 11, 2017 at the funeral home.  Memorials may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Association.

Grant was born on November 19, 1942 in Quincy, IL, the son of Herbert and Gladys (Davis) Rupp.  He married Connie Hoyt on August 1, 1969 in Quincy, IL.  Grant worked as a pattern maker for various shops around the Quad Cities.  He was a proud veteran serving in the U.S. Navy.  Grant enjoyed golfing, watching his granddaughters play sports, and spending time with his family.

Grant is survived by his wife, Connie Rupp, Andalusia; son, Jeffrey (Kristine) Rupp, Andalusia; daughter, Kelly Rupp, Frisco, TX; granddaughters, Jaryn and Justice Kinder; and sisters, Charlotte (Fred) Maurer, Carmel, CA, and Deborah (Kenneth) Kacirek, Elmo, MT.  He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Jana Kinder; and brothers Nicholas and Douglas Rupp.
