Gregory Scott Nefzger, 60, of Davenport passed away on Friday, January 20, 2023 at UnityPoint Health Trinity, Rock Island.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 17th, 2023 at Chippiannock Cemetery, Rock Island. Memorials may be made in care of Greg's family, and the funds collected will be used to support Unity House in Davenport.

Greg was born on July 10, 1962 in Carbondale, IL, a son of Benny D and Gaylene (Gregory) Nefzger. He worked as a printing press operator for many years and most recently worked as an HVAC technician. Greg enjoyed fishing with his dad over the last couple of years and his other hobbies included listening to music and playing guitar. He was a very active member of AA for the past five years and he gained many friendships and lots of support through this group.

Those left to cherish his memory include his parents, Benny D and Gaylene Nefzger; children, Allison (Patrick) Cameron, Jennifer (Colby) Marler, and Alex Nefzger; grandchildren, Drake, Payton, Breslin, Ciaran, Sloan, Emmett, Owen, Ashton, Oliver, and one on the way; siblings, Julie Smith and Sally (Brad) Bridges; nephews, Eric Smith, Ashley Poust, and Benjamin Poust; and best friend, Bob.
