Harold L. Crouse, 83, of Rock Island, passed away on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at UnityPoint Health-Trinity, Rock Island. Services for Harold will be 10 am, Tuesday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island. Visitation will be Monday from 4 pm to 7 pm, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Rock Island Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family. Harold was born on June 18, 1934 in Freeport, Illinois, a son of George Crouse and Jennie Frazen Crouse. He married JoAnne Gibbons on June 12, 1954 in Rock Island. Harold worked in the shipping department at Eagle Bakery, Davenport for 40 years. He also worked part time at Ted's Boatarama, Rock Island as a boat mechanic for 41 years. Harold was a member of the Bakery and Confectionery Workers Local 36, Davenport, and the Rock Island Bowling Association. He was inducted into the Illinois Bowling Hall of Fame in 2005. He enjoyed bowling, golfing, boating, fishing, hunting and attending his grandkids sporting events. Survivors include his wife, JoAnne; children, Daniel (Shawn) Crouse, Eldridge, Iowa, Sue (Steve) Morelock, Davenport, Tammie (Joe) Healy, Rock Island, Michael (DeAnna) Crouse, Rock Island; 14 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.
