Harry D. Rohm, 85, of Andalusia, passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2015 at Unity Point Health-Trinity, Rock Island. Funeral services will be held at 10:30am on Saturday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Rock Island. Visitation will be from 9:00am to service time. Burial will follow at a later date at Rock Island National Cemetery. Memorials may be made in care of the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
Harry was born on October 29, 1929 in Davenport, Iowa, a son of William and Doris Carlson Rohm. He married Philomena "Phil" Stocker on October 28, 1949 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Davenport. Harry worked at the Rock Island Arsenal for 32 years, retiring as a General Foreman. He greatly enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with friends and family.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Glenn (Carol) Rohm, Coal Valley, Kim (Kim) Schluenz, Andalusia; grandchildren, Regann (Dennis) Miller, Reenie (Clint) Hines, Jason (Sheryl) Schluenz, Matt (Alison) Schluenz, Jeff (Nicole) Norton, Jim (Jennifer) Norton and Jayson (Karen) Norton; several great grandchildren; sister, Patti (Larry) McLean, Moline; brother, Steven (Karen) Rohm, Punta Gorda, FL and a sister in law, Joann "Jo" Rohm, Davenport.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Phil, and his brothers, William, John, Virtus and Robert.
