Harvey J. Mead, 61, of Princeton, passed away Thursday, June 16, 2016, at his residence.  Per his wishes cremation rites have been accorded.

Harvey was born on March 20, 1955 in Aledo, IL the son of Harvey L. and Edna Mae (Merreighn) Mead.  He worked as a machine operator for LeClaire Manufacturing.

Harvey enjoyed fishing, boating, cookouts and fish fries, church, working with his hands, and most of all spending time with his family and friends.

Harvey is survived by his children, Michael (Anita) Mead, Cartersville, GA, Brian Mead, Kewanee, and Michelle (RJ) Adams, Kewanee; grandchildren, Christopher, Brandon, Angel, Kaleb, Lacey, Alissa, Drake, and Dakota; and siblings, Donna Antu, Moline, Debbie Vasquez, OH, and Bob Mead, IA.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Edna Mead; and Jim and Elaine (Mead) Fuller.
