Helen "Verlee" Frey, 82, of Moline, passed away on Monday, February 5, 2024 at Hope Creek Nursing and Rehab, East Moline.

A memorial service will be held at 1:30 pm on Friday, February 9, 2024 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island. Memorials may be left in care of the family.

Verlee was born on November 28, 1941 in Wyman, Iowa, a daughter of Henry and Dorothy (Koontz) Randoll. She worked as a cashier at JCPenney's for many years, and also worked as a clerk for several Amoco stations before retiring. She loved visiting the Amana Colonies and flea markets to shop. She always made a friend everywhere she went. Verlee also enjoyed doing word puzzles and listening to the Gaither Vocal Band.

Those left to cherish Verlee's memory include her children, Ricky (Cherry) Bonjour, Robin Montoya and Roger (Norilie) Harned; 15 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren, with one on the way; and sisters, Marilyn Cochran and Barbara Phillips.

Verlee was preceded in death by her parents; son, Randy Bonjour; great granddaughter, Maciella Harned; and brother, Gary Randoll.
