Helen Johnson, 63 of Viola, passed away on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf. A memorial service for Helen will be 2 pm, Saturday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island. There will be no visitation. Private inurnment will be in Chippiannock Mausoleum.  Memorials may be made to the family.

Helen was born on May 9, 1955 in Lincoln, Nebraska, a daughter of Harley and Darlene (Grieser) Peery. She married Larry Johnson on September 17, 1976 in Rock Island. Helen worked as a machine expediter at the Rock Island Arsenal for over 30 years, retiring in 2017. She enjoyed taking care of her family.

Survivors include her daughter, Jennifer Johnson, Rock Island; grandchildren, Jerry, Gage and Birdie; siblings, Ronald Kommers, Oakland, Nebraska, William Peery, Grand Prairie, Texas and Evelyn Wallace, Davenport.
