Helen L. Fox, 88, of Rock Island, passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, May 2, 2022 at The Knox Chapel of Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 2106 7th Avenue, Rock Island.  Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Sunday, May 1, 2022 at The Knox Chapel.  Burial will be at Chippiannock Cemetery, Rock Island.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Jude Children's Hospital.

Helen was born on August 13, 1933, in Oconee, IL, the daughter of Robert and Sceva (Miles) Musser.  She married James A. Fox on May 22, 1955 at Zion Lutheran Church, Taylor Ridge.  Helen retired from Trinity Hospital after working 18 years in the housekeeping department.

Helen is survived by her children, Robert A. Fox, Brenda (Greg) Newman, Edward Fox, and Linda Good; 6 grandchildren; and many great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Fox; her parents; son, Charles Fox; granddaughter, Carrie Anne Trout; sister, Nora Wilkens, and 3 infant siblings.
