Helen M. Quinlin, 85, of Milan, died Saturday, May 31, 2014 at Unity Point Health - Trinity Rock IslandServices will be private at Wheelan - Pressly Funeral Home, 201 4th Ave. E, Milan; with the Rev. Rich Hendricks officiating. Burial will follow in Rock Island National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family.

Helen M. Terrill was born on September 19, 1928 in Muscatine, Iowa, a daughter of Frederick J. and Sarah A. Cozad Terrill. She married Edward J. Quinlin on January 8, 1945 in Davenport, Iowa. He preceded her in death on December 26, 1997.

Helen was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with family, crocheting and playing cards.

Survivors include daughter, Emma Roberts and her fiance, Rich Schmoll of Rock Island; son, Edward D Quinlin and his fiancee, Mary Vrell, Milan; daughter, Christine (Rick) Parks; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and her first great- great grandchild due to arrive in September; brothers, James F. Terrill of Rock Island and William Terrill of Atlanta, Georgia.
