Herbert Ehrmann, 86, of Moline, passed away Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at Cedarhurst Memory Care of Moline.

A memorial service will be held at 11:30 am on Monday, March 13, 2023, at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island.  Visitation will be an hour prior to service.  Inurnment will be at Pine Hill Cemetery, Davenport at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research or the Shriner's Hospitals for Children.

Herbert was born on December 21, 1936 in Davenport, the son of Wendell and Arla (Jacobs) Ehrmann.  He married Jean Huntington in Rock Island.  Herbert worked as an electrician for Iowa Illinois Gas and Electric.  He enjoyed pheasant and duck hunting, fishing, and going golfing.  Most of all he loved the time he got to spend with his family.

Herbert is survived by his wife, Jean Ehrmann; daughter, Linda Soto; grandchildren, Amber Ehrmann, Nikki (Efrain) Ehrmann, Joshua Ehrmann, Christopher (Louly) Ehrmann, Katelyn Sager, and Bryan Sager; great grandchildren, Calvin, Anja, Aden, Liliana, Alice, and Louis Ehrmann; and brothers, Robert (Mary) Ehrmann and Ronald Ehrmann.  He was preceded in death by his parents; sons, Michael and Richard Ehrmann; and sister, Janet Ehrmann.

Herbert's family would like to give a special thank you to the nurses at Genesis Hospice, especially Maggie, for their care and compassion they gave to them and Herbert.
