Jack William Hill, 92, of Andalusia, passed away on Monday, August 18, 2025, at the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf.

Per Jack's wishes, cremation rites have been accorded, and private inurnment will be in Moline Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be left in care of the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island is assisting the family.

Jack was born on April 11, 1933, in Charleston, IL, a son of Ruby Hill. He proudly served in the United States Navy, earning both a Good Conduct and National Defense Service Medal. Jack married Chris Moore on August 23, 1958 and they enjoyed over 67 years together. He retired as an Industrial Specialist from the Rock Island Arsenal.

Jack's hobbies included fishing, woodworking, gardening, and camping. He was an avid Chicago Cubs and Bears fan, as well as a Fighting Illini fan.

Those left to cherish Jack's memory include his wife, Chris Hill; children, Dennis (Susan) Hill and Stephanie (Brian) VanBlaricome; grandchildren, Meagan, Jack, Nick, Aubrey, Ali, Anna, and Ashley; and 8 great-grandchildren.

Jack was preceded in death by his mom, Ruby Hill, and sons, Douglas and Daniel Hill.
