James J. Cunningham, 67, of Rock Island passed away Thursday, December 9, 2021 at home.

A private family service will be held on Monday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island. Inurnment will be at Calvary Cemetery, Rock Island.

James was born on May 30, 1954 in Rock Island, a son of Clement and Florence (McDonald) Cunningham. He worked in manufacturing for many years with Miller Container, as well as working as an independent landscaper. He thoroughly enjoyed helping others with their garden and landscaping.

Survivors include his siblings, Patrick (Jane) Cunningham, Carmel, IN, Gregory (Janaan) Cunningham, Franklin, WI and Kathy Cunningham (Yeager), Rock Island; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
