James D. Hendricks Jr., 71, of Milan, IL died at home on Monday, September 16, 2024 with loved ones around him. No services are planned at this time. In lieu of flowers, the family requests trees be planted in his memory.

Jim was born on February 1, 1953 to James and Alice (Lee) Hendricks in Moline, IL.

James married Bonnie Terrill on June 18, 1974 in Milan, IL where they lived and celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary this year.

James retired from Wear-Cote International where he was a metal plater for over twenty years.

Jim was an avid Cubs and Bears fan. He enjoyed volunteering for the Milan Lions Club, fishing, and bowling.

He is survived by his wife, Bonnie; brothers and sisters-in-law; and many nieces, nephews, and friends who loved him.

He was preceded in death by his foster parents who raised him, Chuck and Fannie Skaley.
