James "Jim" W. Johnson, 82, of Muscatine, IA, passed away Friday, June 7, 2024, at Lutheran Living in Muscatine, IA.

Private family services will be held. Memorials may be made in care of the family. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island, is assisting the family.

Jim was born August 12, 1941, in Rock Island, to Roland W. and Inez (Shippey) Johnson. He worked for the street department of the City of Rock Island for 25 years. Jim was married to Patricia "Pat" Engle on January 24, 1985, in Muscatine, IA. He enjoyed camping, fishing, playing cards, and watching old westerns.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Pat; step-children, Daniel (Sharon) DeBaillie, Debra (Alfonso) deLeon; grandchildren, Taylor (Anna Kramer) Williams, Cassidy (Clare Ferris) Williams, Kennedy (Alex) Yutzy, and Michael Bonnichsen.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Gary, Robert, Les, and Roland Johnson.
